Australia - Wakefield Estate

Wakefield Estate, known as Taylor's Wines at home, is Australia's leading family-owned winery.

Established in 1969 at Auburn in the Clare Valley, South Australia, Wakefield Estate is one of the most highly regarded and awarded Australian cool climate wine producers. Commitment to the preservation and promotion of regional identity provides the Wakefield wines with classic fruit definition, poised acidity and an enviable ability to age. Released only when ready to drink, Wakefield wines offer the consumer a rare opportunity to enjoy mature Australian wines.

Wakefield is unique in that all grapes are sourced from the 400 hectares of family-owned vineyards surrounding the winery, making this one of the largest single estate plantings in Australia. These vineyards provide the consistency necessary to make premium quality wines, which reflect the region's characteristics. From its entry level Promised Land to the core Estate range and on to the St Andrews limited range of hand-crafted wines from selected vineyard sites, Wakefield offers an excellent selection for all tastes and price points.
