Italian Gourmet Dinner

The Edencroft Gourmet Evenings are something of an institution.

An evening of conviviality and a chance to try an eclectic range of wines and Proseccos chosen by Dr. Stephen Lane our Italian wine expert. Each wine is then matched with and complemented by Crewe Hall's Head Chef Andy Hollingshead's excellent cuisine.

Friday 28th September. 7.30pm Reception
The Long Room, Crewe Hall, Western Road, Crewe, CW1 6UZ.

Reception: Prosecco Brut.

First Course: Giacomo Ascheri Langhe Arneis Doc 2007 - Tuscan biroldo Sausage and bean soup.

Second Course: Giacomo Ascheri Langhe Arneis Doc 2007 - Bresola, grilled white peach, goat’s cheese and rocket.

Fish Course: Planeta Chardonnay 2006 – Seared tuna, caponata, white balsamic foam, crisp courgette.

Main Course: Poliziano Vino Nobile Di Montepulciano Vigna Asinone 2004 – Rack of lamb, flageolet bean puree, minted fondant, tomato and caper jus, toasted parmesan.

Dessert: Umani Ronchi Maximo (Sauvignon Blanc) 2004 – Iced praline soufflé, coffee panacotta, affrogato, chocolate ravioli.

Cheese Course: Cantina Valpantena Amarone Della Valpolicella 2004 - Dolcelatte, pear chutney and walnut foccacia.

Coffee & Mints: Grappa Monovitigno Moscato.

£90.00 per person (inclusive of six-course dinner and wines).
