Castellane Champagne...
Champagne De Castellane bears the name of one
of the oldest families in France, whose origins date back to the
tenth century with the Counts of Provence and Arles. It was in
1895 that the Vicomte De Castellane Florens established The
House of Castellane in Epernay.
A communications man prior to that time, he
selects as its brand emblem, the Cross of St. Andrew, in tribute
to the banner of the oldest regiment in Champagne. Very soon, De
Castellane becomes the champagne of all the celebrations in
Paris during the Belle Epoque.

The Brut Croix Rouge
expresses “the De Castellane style,” a subtle marriage of class and
pleasure. It reflects the commitment of oenologists, the tradition
of the House quality and illustrates their know-how to express, with
consistency over the years, the richness and subtlety of the style.
The
marriage of the three Champagne grapes (Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and
Pinot Meunier), and approximately 15% of reserve wines, provides its
consistency. Its aging in the cellar over 24 months are the source
of its freshness and its structure.
The Brut Croix Rouge is
ideal for an aperitif, or a long night of partying.
During a meal, it will
highlight the simplest dishes such as Parma ham with melon, chicken
or mushrooms. |

The Brut Rosé champagne
was born for the pleasure of the eyes, nose and palate, which offers
a range of colours and of aromas.
It illustrates perfectly
the magic of assembly: marrying wines from different regions and
different varietals to reveal a wealth of harmonies of tastes and
colours.
The
Brut Rose is produced from a blend of the three Champagne grapes,
dominated by Pinot Noir, which, in the purest tradition of
champagne, is associated with big red wines of Champagne to the tune
of about 15%.
Produced in the De
Castellane style, it is a wine that combines great freshness and a
light fruity and appealing.
Floral, round and
elegant, it is excellent for aperitifs or to accompany a red fruit
dessert. |
