Hawker’s
Sloe Gin is the authority in the sloe gin category. William Hawker
created the original recipe in the late 1790’s and the family
business, James Hawker & Co, were the first company to commercially
produce and market a Sloe Gin.
Today Hawker’s Sloe is once again batch made and matured in the City of Plymouth, its original home, with 100% wild-picked Dartmoor Sloes, Dartmoor water and full strength premium gin.
At 28% ABV Hawker’s is stronger than all leading competitor brands, but this is a sloe gin with a real richness and luxuriant flavour.
Sloe gin is traditionally associated with winter sports, especially game shooting, and is increasingly used by bartenders in cocktails and mixed drinks.
