Italy - Piedmont - Ascheri

In a world where wines are generally produced with the same grapes, the same technology, the same wood for ageing and above all the same consultants, our aim is to obtain a wine which is the expression of the vineyard it comes from, of the grapes it was made of, and above all of our own ideas.

The vineyards: They have created their vineyards focusing their attention on the most suitable selections in order to get the most of each vine which they match with less vigorous rootstocks.

They take care of their vineyards so that they can get the best yield in relation to the most diverse climatic conditions. In fact, they are well aware that it’s not just a matter of good or bad luck, but of ability, care and accurate work as well.

Their vineyards are tended following the principles of integrated fight.

The estates: The production of their grapes and consequently, of their wines is carried out on three different estates: two of these located at the hearth of the Barolo region, the third in the Roero area.

They planted only indigenous vines in the first two estates, while they experimented non traditional grapes in the Roero estate in order to exalt the soil with vines which can best express its potentialities.

They have, therefore, followed a twofold philosophy: tradition in the Barolo region and innovation outside this area.
