Grape Varieties: 60% Tempranillo, 20% Cabernet Sauvignon and 20% Merlot.
Vinification Note: Only the best grapes of the 400 hectares of vineyards of this Bodega go into the Crianza. After fermentation the wines spend 12 months in American and Oak Barrels adding complexity to the wine and allowing all it’s characteristics to harmonise.
Tasting Note: The nose is aromatic with a medium to high intensity. Fruits such as blackberry, raspberry and plums are detected alongside a well-integrated toasty character. After some time in the glass, liquorice and vanilla and a touch of greenness can be found. The palate is complex, still tannic and with a high but balanced acidity. The long length can be justified by an almost perfect amount of fruit and oak. Medium bodied and very structured.
