Bowmore, Bunnahabhaib, Caol Ila and Laphroaig.
Nose: mildly awesome: a mixing of varying grists - peaty, but on so many planes;
Taste: still on the grist blitz with a powdery smokiness working well with a veiled honey theme;
Finish: dries out at first but a smoky butterscotch balances things out;
Balance: a very different take on Islay with the heavy peats somehow having a floating quality. Unique.
