The 2004 Stonewell Shiraz, sourced from several Barossa districts, spent 18 months in predominantly French oak hogsheads. Opaque purple-coloured, it delivers an enticing bouquet of pain grille, pencil lead, spice box, smoked meat, and blueberry.
Colour is a bright lemon with green tinges. This multiple medal winner has the classical Eden Valley lime bouquet and is showing the first hints of toastiness, the result of time in the bottle.
This wine has a deep rich red colour, a brooding centre and a bright rim. On the nose it shows lifted dark plum, mocha chocolate, and undertones of liquorice.
