The verdant Constantia valley, home to Klein Constantia Estate, is the oldest, most enduring vineyard region in the Cape, first producing wine in 1689.
As part of the original vineyard that in the 18th century produced "Constantia", prized throughout Europe by the leaders and aristocracy of the time, Klein Constantia has helped to reclaim its former glory by initiating the revival of this famous sweet wine.
Family owned and run, Klein Constantia's philosophy is founded on quality rather than quantity, reflected in the wines regularly inviting accolades, both locally and internationally.

Grapes were sourced from top quality vineyards in Elgin, Walker Bay, Somerset West and Constantia. Given the warm, dry conditions leading up the harvest, the fruit quality was of the highest standard, and the resultant wine flavourful and full-bodied. Fresh green appearance. Melon, green fig and kiwi fruit aromas abound. The complex palate is rich and juicy with a fresh, flinty finish. |

Through the use of innovative production techniques and sourcing of high quality grapes from throughout the Cape Winelands we aim to make an approachable yet high quality wine which is ready to drink on purchase, yet will benefit from an additional few years of bottle maturation. Deep ruby core with a lively rim. The nose is a pleasant bouquet of ripe black fruit mingling with subtle oak spice. The richly textured palate is enhanced by a sweet fruit core which adds weight and dimension to the wine. Fine tannins ensure a long lasting, flavourful finish. |

Bright golden in colour, the nose is filled with tropical aromas of dried pineapple, mango and with raisined, caramelised notes. The palate has a fresh acid entry which develops richness and envelopes the mouth in a fusion of tropical flavours tapering to a lingering, delicate finish. |
