Chateau des Ferrages

Nestled between Mont Sainte Victoire, made famous by the paintings of Cézanne, and Mont Aurelien, is the quaint Provençal village of Pourcieux where Château des Ferrages has been producing characterful wines since 1980.

The 28 hectares of vines sit on calcareous soils and are cooled by the famous breezes of Le Mistral wind which blows south from the Rhône valley, the home of Michel Chapoutier, who acquired this estate in 2016.

Producing a range of predominantly rosé wines from the Côtes-de-Provence and Côtes-de-Provence Saint-Victoire appellations, the winery also offers white and red wines, made from grape varieties such as Grenache, Cinsault and Syrah, all of which are also grown on Michel Chapoutier’s estates around the world.
