GRAPES: 70% Grenache Noir, 20% Syrah, 10% Mourvèdre and others.
SOIL TYPE: One part comes from stony clay soils covered with rolled pebbles and another part on deeper sandy clay brown soil. The location is only on the northern part of the appellation. The vines are cultivated in organic farming.
This blend of terroirs allows the GRAND VENEUR rouge to express its power and aromatic complexity year after year.
TASTING: The colour is ruby-opaque. The nose exhales both aromas of ripe red fruit (kirsch, blackberry) and spice box. The wine is rich, full and ample. The length is important thanks to the impression of salinity provided by the silky tannins.
A style of Châteauneuf du Pape with intense and subtle characters which express all the characteristics of its terroir.
