GRAPES: 90% Sangiovese and 10% Merlot.

VINEYARDS LOCATION: Le Ripe vineyard, alt.: 450 - 510 m. (1,476 - 1,673 ft) a.s.l.
SOIL: Medium texture, with loam and limestone.
TRAINING SYSTEM: Spur cordon-training.
NUMBER OF VINES PER HECTARE: 4.500 - 7.500 plants.
HARVEST: Hand picked from September 25th (Sangiovese), from September 16th (Merlot).
FERMENTATION TEMPERATURE: 26 - 28 °C.
