GRAPES: 70% Cabernet Sauvignon and 30% Merlot.
AVERAGE AGE OF THE VINES: 25 years.
VINIFICATION: Grapes are destemmed before vatting. Fermentation lasts for 15 to 18 days under temperature control. Wine is matured in vats before bottling.
AGEING: After filtering, in vats.
BOTTLNG: Estate- bottled two years after harvest.
TASTING NOTES: A deep purple colour, this wine reveals flavours of red fruits, wild strawberry and cherry. It is supple and round on the palate with fine tannins.
SUGGESTION: A great match with a chicken and potato stew or a pheasant terrine.
