GRAPES: 100% Garnacha.
Intense aromas of red mature fruits such as cherry and redcurrant, menthol, minerality and balsamic notes. On the palate is a dense texture of sweet and unctuous soft tannins, red fruit and integrated oak.
VINEYARDS: Manual harvest from Pajera, Central and Lentisco plots with vines ranging from 30 to 70 years old.
VINTAGE: The 2015 vintage was characterised by good distribution of rainfall throughout the growing season. Budburst was on 2nd July and veraison began on the 12th July.
WINEMAKING: Alcoholic fermentation took 8 days in 100hl French oak vats, followed by 7 days maceration. Malolactic fermentation took place in second use, 300, 400 and 500l barrels for almost 2 years.
