GRAPES: 63% Pinot Noir, 32% Chardonnay and 5% Pinot Gris.
WINEMAKER NOTES: This very focused and elegant wine displays lovely notes of lime blossom, pears and summer herbs with a hint of light toastiness. It displays a palate with an array of fruit nuances of lime zest, lemon meringue, green apple and a touch of green tea.
VINEYARDS: 100% Carneros appelation.
VINTAGE: Harvesting started on August 15. It was another stellar harvest with even ripening and moderate weather during harvest, which allowed them to pick the fruit slowly and consistently as it ripened perfectly. The varieties showed power and finesse in this remarkable vintage.
WINE MAKING: Domaine Carneros Vintage Brut is our great classic cuvée that represents the best of Carneros Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. For this particular vintage we also added just a little Pinot Gris. Our 2013 Brut Cuvée has been aged a full three and a half years in our cellar to enhance complexity and development.
TASTING NOTES: The Californian sun makes for a wine that is riper and softer than Champagne, but the Taittinger heritage ensures that this is a truly fine sparkling wine with great finesse, elegance and subtlety.
DELIVERY: All our wines are stored in our importers bonded warehouse’s, which have the optimum environment for fine wine storage, by carefully regulating temperature, humidity and other micro climatic factors.
As such, please allow between 7 and 10 days for your delivery to arrive.
