GRAPES: Pinot Noir & Chardonnay.
VINEYARD: Humanity and Sustainability are the key words of L’Esprit Nature, gateway to the Henri Giraud universe. This brilliant wine bears the flag of the house’s original commitment to the defence of the environment.
Its emblem, the paper oak, tells the story of the fragility of life and the capacity of Man to reinvent it.
VINIFICATION: Vinified and raised in oak barrel of 3 to 5 wines, 50% of reserve wine in perpetual reserve. Aged for at least 2 years on lees.
TASTING NOTES AND PAIRING: Sparkling with beautiful mineral bitterness, it pushes the door of the great wines of Champagne, while its incomparable fruit invites shared pleasure.
EYE: Beautiful golden and blond reflections typical of mature Pinot Noir wines.
NOSE: We find notes of stone fruits (pear, peach), vanilla and spices (white pepper) on a base of candied lemon which gives it freshness. Then come maturity and gluttony.
MOUTH: The attack is fresh and then discreet and lets the overall vinosity express itself. The body, the very fullness make the structure of this wine. Minerality and light tannins contribute to a long, vinous, warm and silky astringent final structure with bitter almond and biscuit aromas.
