MV Rosé, Grand Cru Rosé, this pillar of excellence has taken the time and rhythm of its origins.

Its "partridge-eye" colour accentuates its natural charm of a mature wine. The chalk of Aÿ comes to rest on the tip of the tongue and a hint of smoked meat gives it an incomparable presence.

Carnal and bewitching, it had to be adorned with a refined jewel, a pink gold clasp engraved in the manner of a wedding ring.

Stephan Reinhardt, End of June 2018, The Wine Advocate: Exactly the same base wine as the MV10 but blended before bottling with 8% red Pinot Noir from an 64-year-old vineyard in Aÿ that gives very tiny, juicy and structured grapes, Giraud's NV Aÿ Grand Cru Fût de Chêne Brut MV Rosé has a lovely orange-pink color and opens to a slightly reductive bouquet initially, but then becomes pure and very delicate yet intense, with red fruits, red wine and floral aromas. On the palate, this is a medium-bodied yet concentrated, fresh and well-structured Rosé with purity, finesse and mineral length. It has matured fruit flavors in the persistent aftertaste, representing a good portion of reserve wines that add a final layer of complexity. Aged for seven years on yeast on the bottle the wine is pretty vinous, and its initially slightly oaky taste and grip needs a big fat fish. 4.500 bottles produced.
