COUNTRY/REGION: France/Loire Valley.
GRAPES: 100% Sauvignon Blanc.
UNIT: 1 x 75cl Bottle.
WINEMAKER NOTES: A complex nose of grapefruit and gunflint, with a fresh tropical fruit palate. This wine has exceptional length.
VINEYARDS: The grapes are grown on predominantly siliceous soils. All vineyard processes are carried out in an environmental manner, adapted to each terroir.
VINTAGE: 2015 was a challenging year as rains and higher temperatures than usual disturbed the flowering season. Consequently, the yields were lower than in previous years. Fortunately, a very dry summer allowed the grapes to ripen fully and to be in good health before harvest. In the same way that 2014 was a challenging but star year, 2015 is a great vintage that has given very fruity, well-balanced and rich wines with great depth.
WINEMAKING: Following on from cold static settling, the fermentation takes place at low temperatures in temperature controlled stainless steel tanks.
TASTING NOTES: Fresh, zesty Sauvignon Blanc with exotic fruits and grapefruit aromas and flinty minerality, this is a classic to win the hearts of any follower of this insatiably popular grape.
DELIVERY: All our wines are stored in our importers bonded warehouse’s, which have the optimum environment for fine wine storage, by carefully regulating temperature, humidity and other microclimatic factors.
