COUNTRY/REGION: France/Loire Valley.
GRAPES: 100% Sauvignon Blanc.
UNIT: 1 x 75cl Bottle.
WINEMAKER NOTES: Sauvignon Blanc thrives in the flint rich soils of Sancerre, giving it its distinctive gun-flint flavours. Aged on it's fine lees preserving all its freshness and depth.
VINEYARDS: The vines are grown on ancient soils from the Cretaceous period. This flint rich siliceous clay emparts the subtle hint of gun-flint. All vineyard processes are carried out in an environmental manner, adapted for each terroir.
VINTAGE: 2015 was a challenging year as rains and higher temperatures than usual disturbed the flowering season. Consequently, the yields were lower than in previous years. Fortunately, a very dry summer allowed the grapes to ripen fully and to be in good health before harvest. In the same way that 2014 was a challenging but star year, 2015 is a great vintage that has given very fruity, well-balanced and rich wines with great depth.
WINEMAKING: Following on from cold static settling, the fermentation takes place at low temperatures in temperature controlled stainless steel tanks.
DELIVERY: All our wines are stored in our importers bonded warehouse’s, which have the optimum environment for fine wine storage, by carefully regulating temperature, humidity and other microclimatic factors.
As such, please allow between 7 and 10 days for your delivery to arrive.
