GRAPES: 100% Viura.
WINEMAKER NOTES: Nice pale yellow colour with greenish hues. On the nose, elegance is given by floral and fruity notes such as apple, pear and citrus. Its smooth and delicate palate gives a blanced and fresh wine, with a long and fruity aftertaste.
VINEYARDS: Rioja Alta is the westernmost of Rioja's three sub-areas. It is influenced by the Atlantic Ocean's climate. The soil in Rioja Alta is rich in iron, limestone and clay, along with nutrients deposited in the region by the tributaries of the Ebro River.
VINTAGE: 2017 has turned out to be the most complicated harvest of the latest years, due to the weather conditions. It has been an early harvest: low yield but impeccable quality.
WINEMAKING: Fermentation took place in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperature, which facilitates the extraction and conservation of primary fruit and floral aromas, typical of the variety.
TASTING NOTES: Celebrating its centenary in 2015, this is Spain's oldest white wine brand. A versatile wine to be enjoyed as an apéritif or to match a wide range of foods. 100% fresh Viura with nothing added.
