Old Ballantruan / The Peated Malt Aged 10 Years

COUNTRY/REGION: Scotland/Speyside.

DISTILLERY: Tomintoul.

BOTTLING SERIE: The Peated Malt.

STATED AGE: 10 years old.

"Old Ballantruan" Speyside Glenlivet Single Malt Scotch Whisky is only one of a handful of peated malt whiskies from the Speyside region.

After 'sleeping' for 10 years in hand-picked oak barrels, this whisky has been bottled at 50% volume and without any chill-filtration to retain its layered and integrated peaty flavours.

COLOUR: Warm-gold.

NOSE: Gentle waft of "peat reek", smoked campfires and subtle citrus fruit notes.

TASTE: A mellow, dry peat with hints of lemon cheesecake, cocoa and shortbread.

FINISH: Lingering smoke and peat with a light pepper kick.
