GRAPES: 70% Chardonnay and 30% Pinot Noir.
Rare cuvées can contain up to 17 crus including Villers-Marmery, Trépail, Vaudemange then Avize, Mesnil-sur-Oger and Chouilly for the Chardonnays and Verzy, Verzenay, Bouzy, Aÿ for the Pinots Noirs. The blends can be different from a vintage to another. The Cellar Master collects among the different crus just like an artist would use the different colours of his painting palette. The style will remain but the components will change according to the vintage years.
