COUNTRY/REGION: New Zealand/Marlborough.
GRAPES: 100% Grüner Veltliner.
DETAILS OF PRODUCTION: Sourced from the Willow Flat vineyard, from low cropping vines, the fruit is handpicked, destemmed and pressed, and left to settle on its lees to produce a creamy texture on the palate. 4 different fermentation vessels are used to vinify individual batches in 225L old French barriques, 1000L new French oval, stainless steel tank and a concrete egg. Lees are stirred on a regular basis and then the wine is blended.
TASTING NOTES: This Gruner Veltliner displays a distinctive style, notes of peach, honey and spice.
