Grapes: 50% Grillo and 50% Catarratto.
Unit: 1 x 75cl
Vineyards: The vineyards are located at 130 metres above sea level with a south eastern exposure. The vines are free standing ‘alberello’ bush vines, planted at a density of 5,550 vines per hectare and the soil is calcareous.
Winemaking: The small but efficient cellar is equipped with temperature controlled stainless steel vats. After harvest, the grapes are gently pressed and fermented at cool temperatures of around 15°C to ensure that the aromatic compounds of the grapes are retained.
Vintage Information: The grapes were hand-picked from 28th August.
Tasting Note: Lemon yellow in colour, this wine has an attractive aromatic profile with citrus and floral notes and some tropical fruit. On the palate is fresh and zesty (typical of Grillo) but with good weight and a round character (from the Catarratto).
Delivery: All our wines are stored in our importers bonded warehouse’s, which have the optimum environment for fine wine storage, by carefully regulating temperature, humidity and other microclimatic factors.
